1980
Irene Marie is the founder and president of City Models Miami, Inc; a full service ‘on location’ model and talent agency in Ft. Lauderdale Florida
1983
City Models, Inc renamed to Irene Marie Model and Talent Management Agency. The Agency quickly becomes one of South Florida’s largest and most successful agencies.
1985
Irene Marie named ‘Leading Lady’ by the Network Connection and honored as their 1985 Business Owner of the Year
1988 Irene Marie is president of the Florida Association of Talent and Modeling Agencies (F.A.T.M.A)
  At age 13, future international supermodel Niki Taylor is discovered during an open casting call with Irene Marie. Taylor goes on to sign the largest modeling contract ever awarded by a cosmetic company at the time.
  Irene Marie is one of the first real-estate investors on Ocean Drive. Irene purchases the Sun Ray Apartments, home of the infamous chainsaw massacre scene from the movie Scarface
1989 Irene Marie Model and Talent Management Agency moves from Ft. Lauderdale to its remodeled and current location on Miami’s South Beach. The agency continues to grow with the discovery and development of talent such as Niki Taylor (L’Oreal, Elle, Vogue, Cover Girl), Shana Zadrick (Guess Jeans), Michael Ostheim (Esprit, Armani), Scott King (Calvin Klein) and Britt Bradford (Versace).
